Pit Wall GP
Pit Wall GP is a pixel-art Formula racing management game. You don't drive. You sit on the pit wall, run a team of two drivers through a 10-race championship, and make the calls that win or lose races.
What you do
- Build your team: Pick a name, colors and difficulty, then design your own logo in the built-in editor with shapes, layers and templates. Sign two drivers and go racing.
- Run the race: Call pit stops, choose tire compounds, set pace and ERS modes, and issue team orders while watching the field on the pixel track.
- Gamble on the weather: Forecasts can be wrong. Choose between slicks, intermediates and wets as the track gets wetter or dries out.
- Manage the car and the budget: Develop 8 areas of the car, upgrade your facilities, train your drivers, and stay under the $30M season cost cap.
- Survive the chaos: Mistakes, crashes, mechanical failures, safety cars and VSCs can all wreck your plan. Repair bills come out of your budget.
Features
- 10-race championship with a full race simulation: tire wear and temperature, fuel, DRS, slipstream, dirty air and overtakes in the braking zones
- Qualifying, plus an engineer's simulator for choosing downforce, starting tires and fuel load
- Fictional teams, drivers, sponsors and circuits, with every sprite and track generated in code
- 3 save slots plus autosave after every race, with career export and import
- Runs in your browser, with no install
Controls
- Mouse: click buttons to call pit stops, set pace and ERS, and click any car to inspect it
- Space: pause
- Keys 1-6: sim speed (1x to 32x)
Genre: Strategy or Simulation
Saves are stored in the browser's localStorage. On itch.io, a player's progress usually persists in the same browser, but it can be lost if they clear their site data. Consider adding "Use the export button in HQ → Save / Load to back up your career" to the description.
